it has been quiet a long time since i my little fingers danced on the key pad leaving marks on this blog...

Alhamdulillah...my life nowadays become better eventhough so much things to do yet Allah always show me the path,even it looked difficult at first but at last the result was satisfying...Alhamdulillah....

Just wana scribble a little about my kids.recently during language arts period, i asked them to make sock puppet..It is on a story entitled 'The White Radish" .they were so cute and here are some of pictures of the kids with their puppets=)

Assalamualaikum...

at last,the day finally came...
it was a very 'stomach full with butterfly' day even though i'm not the one who was taking the exam.but at least i'm part of it..yup,definitely besides parents, for sure the teachers are nervous as well waiting for the UPSR result.

Alhamdulillah...praises due to Allah because out of 33 pupils, 5 of them got 5A's and i'm so so happy for them...what made me more happy was that at last English score 100% pass with 5 pupils got A...Alhamdulillah....

Well, what else to say, congrats to my first babies:Munif,Najah,Asrina,Mashitah and Ayu..may all of you hold the success forever in this world and hereafter...all the best to them!!!

Last Friday, on 28th October 2011 I went to a course conducted by PPD regarding a new system on organizing in-house training or school-based courses. The course started at 9.30am at SK Muadzam Shah.

And this is the temporary website meant for practice since the real website still under construction.

Frankly speaking I am not really understand in organizing LADAP at school eventhough I have been appointed as the secretary. However, it is part of my responsibility as teacher apart from teaching. So, I am trying hard to complete all the task appointed despite my blurness...:(

Alhamdulillah, after attending the course, I'm quite certain of what I have to do. As usual, it add on my already-work. But at least now I know which road to take.

So, I'm on my way to complete all the data which have to be send online by 31st October. Sad to say, I dont know why...all the data seem not saved even i tried to key in the data quite a number of time...Urm...might be the server problem. In fact, the website is still new and a lot of construction is taking place before it can be used completely.

Is still trying and keep on looking on the site so that I'm able to key in all the data needed asap..hopefully:)

Trial English UPSR 2011

UPSR is approaching....

and yet i'm here so nervous, worried and all that sort of feelings.yup, seems a group of butterflies flapping noisily in my stomach.

for this last month, just before UPSR begin, i collected some trial paper from other states. just to smell the type of paper for this year.

well, from my observation, i found that paper2 section A mostly on scouts camping. Pahang and Kedah had questions on that. But other type of situation should not be neglected as well.

Since my pupils are quite weak in paper2, i focused more on paper2 especially in section C. but, after two weeks practicing, i think i should turning back to section A n B. Dont want to neglect the bonus questions.

Just hope my technique all this while is on the track and the pupils get as much benefits they could.

SPP DG41

It was 30^th June 2011 in the morning and I was in my fastest heart beat as i’m going to be interviewed for my DG41 post confirmation. My session was scheduled on 9.30am. However, i was there at 7.10 am. The officer was shocked that i was too early. At last this bring me luck.:) Luckily one of the teachers that had to be interviewed at 7.30am left his document caused his interviewed had to be postponed. I’m lucky the officer realize i’m early and he let me in earlier.

Ok. First step before being called in, all my documents were checked, either original or photocopied documents were checked by the officer on duty. The original documents had to be arranged neatly in a folder while photocopied documents had to be separated from the folder. Once my documents were checked, the officer gave me a form which is a marking scheme form. Stated there the marks given during the interview based on few aspects such as appearance, communication skill, knowledge in current issue and knowledge in teaching and learning. Stated on the form also is the name on interviewer. (If there is no name of interviewer or the officer did not tell, we have to ask before go in. We should know the name of interviewer)

This interview was carried on in groups, 5 in a group. We came in, greet the Dato’ and sat down when he let us sat. We arrange our sit according to name list and gave him our folder.

First task for us was introducing ourselves one by one while he was checking our folder.

Then he begin questioning us and we had to answer based on our opinion. We were lucky that the questions were basically on general ideas.

Here are the questions that he asked us:

1) Meaning of teacher (‘guru’)

2) Responsibility of a teacher

3) What is co-curriculum

4) How co-curriculum affect pupils

5) Teacher’s day 2011 theme

6) What transformation in education that our country is facing now

7) Meaning of 1 Malaysia

The interview end after an hour.

kssr dunia seni visual tahun1 2011

9 dan 10 November lalu, saya menghadiri kursus kssr dunia seni visual. Kalu sebelum ini, kita didedahkan dengan subjek pendidikan seni visual, bermula tahun depan, 2011, murid-murid tahun 1 akan diperkenalkan dengan subjek dunia seni visual, bukan lagi pendidikan seni visual. Walaupun saya bukan major atau minor seni, peluang menghadiri kursus sebegini memberi saya kesempatan mencapahkan kemahiran dalam pengajaran. Seni merupakan satu subjek unik yang saya kira boleh saya terapkan didalam pengajaran subjek teras. Tambahan pula saya memang minat juga dengan elemen-elemen seni.

Serba sedikit mengenai input yang dapat saya perolehi tentang kursus ini. Secara ringkasnya, untuk penerapan kurikulum baru ini, murid-murid tahun 1 akan didedahkan dengan konsep-konsep penting seni. Contohnya, guru perlu menerangkan konsep dan jenis-jenis garisan seperti garis lintang, garis bujur, garis beralun dan sebagainya. Seingat saya, konsep-konsep ini hanya dipelajari semasa saya di tingkatan 1. Tapi tidak lagi bagi generasi tahun 1 2011 dimana mereka mula belajar kurikulum tingkatan 1 ketika mereka darjah 1. Elemen-elemen teknologi dan keusahawanan juga diterapkan di dalam kurikulum baru ini. Saya melihat positif elemen keusahawanan sebagai satu cara menilai karya murid. Kalau sebelumnya murid akan dinilai dengan ‘A’, ‘B’ atau ‘C’, tapi melalui elemen keusahawanan murid akan meletakkan nilai harga karya mereka. Contohnya, murid meletakkan harga pada lukisan mereka dengan harga RM10.00 dan bertanya pada kawan-kawan siapa yang sanggup membelinya. Di sini kita akan melihat subjek matematik diterapkan dan elemen keusahawanan jelas kelihatan. Secara tak langsung memotivasikan murid menghasilkan karya bermutu.

Selain diberi taklimat, kami juga diberi kumpulan untuk menghasilkan satu rancangan pengajaran dunia seni visual. Hasilnya?Marvellous!!semua kumpulan tampil dengan idea kreatif masing-masing. Semua kumpulan dapat menyediakan rancangan pengajaran yang saya kira memang dapat menarik minat anak-anak kecil untuk belajar subjek ini.

Kumpulan saya telah menghasilkan rancangan pengajaran bertajuk kraf tradisonal:anyaman kelarai bertemakan buah-buahan.

Secara keseluruhannya, kursus ini memberi saya satu lagi pengalaman baru terutama dapat dalam pengajaran pendidikan seni visual yang akan datang akan ditukar kepada dunia seni visual.

Days passing by so quick that I never realize it is already the end of the semester...In fact, it is going to be the end of the 6 years-degree course...Alhamdulillah....

But, somehow, it make me sad and hard to leave this life. surely, Iam going to miss this life...it is coloured variously with so many good and bad memories. yet, me and all the other 74 friends managed to face them together...this friendship among us is very meaningful....really love them...

And this poem actually dedicated to us, the cohort3 TESL IPIK-UM by one of our lecturer, Mr. Gomez. What to say about him? I just can say, he is THE BEST TEACHER. I can feel the sincerity and honesty of him in teaching us. he is so patient with us despite of our various attitude. he managed to carry out activities that make all of us so reluctant to miss his class. we always wonder and waiting what he is going to do during the lesson. He is so good, creative, hardworking, determine and committed. dont you think the poem is good? it is so touching and I will remember by a very good teacher...
